Summer Plans

This summer will be uneventful compared to summers of the past for me. My family has no plans for a vacation as of now, and my parents are going to Hawaii in November so I doubt we will do much. I will play baseball as usual and that will take me into late July. We may go up to new Target Field to see the Twins play or something like that. After that then I just wait for August to roll around which means two-a-days for football. Fun stuff.

Main Cause of WWII

World War II was caused by Hitler and Japan violating the Treaty of Versailles and ignoring the naval armaments. This set a precedent that the League of Nations had no policing power over the world. The other countries like Italy followed "suit".

• Japan expands Imperial Navy
• Nazi Germany expands army

Should illegal drugs be leagalized?

I think not. There would be such a great increase in deaths and drug related incidents in the first year, that it is not a good idea. I do think however that after that time, there would be a decrease in such incidents because some of the users just do it to be an "outlaw". After it is legalized, I think that rates would go down. However, I think that the increases in the beginning would be too great for it to need to happen.

Bucket List

This is my "Bucket List"

Places I want to go:
1. Yankee Stadium
2. The Superdome in New Orleans
3. Madison Square Garden
4. The Golden Gate Bridge
5. "The Rock" Alcatraz Maximum Security Prison

Things I want to do:
1. Know I am the Best at something, doesn't really matter what it is, but just to know i'm the best at something.
2. Attend an Iowa Bowl game
3. Attend the Super Bowl
4. Drive a Stock Car at high speeds
5. Shoot a round of Golf under par

Something I've Accomplished:
~ It's not something most people would say was an accomplishment but it's one my favorite moments of my life:
---When Iowa beat Penn State on a last second field goal in 2008, when Penn State was number 3 in the country and no one believed me that they would win.

Video

This is a video of Michael Jordan's last game as a Chicago Bull. His final and most memorable shot (not including his stint with the Wizards) came in game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals against the Utah Jazz. This was the perfect cap to the career of the greatest basketball player of all-time.

Firearms on College Campuses

I think that students having firearms on college campuses is a bad idea. Your not going to prevent people using the firearms with more firearms. It could lead to gang shootouts or maybe a spontainious shooting. What i mean by that is, that someone may not have any intention of doing anything stupid but with the gun there, they could make a stupid decision in the heat of the moment. College professers having a weapon though would not be a bad practice because they can be trusted and there is some form of defense against a gunman if there were to be one.

Good/Bad of Midieval project

The good in the project is that we learn about the Midieval Ages, a time in which I dont know much about. The bad is that we have to count on everyone to get their stuff done.
